PROVIDER INITIATED TEST - The Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies test measures antibodies directed against thyroid peroxidase, an enzyme essential for thyroid hormone production. The presence of TPO antibodies indicates an autoimmune response affecting the thyroid gland.
