The Vitamin D, 25-OH, LC/MS/MS test provides a highly accurate measurement of vitamin D status using liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS). This method separately measures vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) and vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), as well as total 25-hydroxyvitamin D.
